The Super 14 began with bang this weekend. The Bulls lost Bryan Habana (for a month) while trouncing the Stormers, the Cheetahs lose by 1 point to the Lions, the Blues crush the Chiefs and the title holders (Sharks) beat the Force by 7 points.

SAA Tennis Open was won by top seed Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia. He scored an emphatic 7-6 (7-2) 6-4 victory over second seed Stefan Koubek, of Austria, to capture the title at the Selborne Club earlier today.

Ljubicic admitted earlier in the week he was under pressure back home for choosing to play the SAA Tennis Open rather than the bigger event this week in Marseille.
